Change 1– AI is allowing consultants to upskill & level up in business FAST

The barrier to learning ANYTHING has come down significantly with AI.

Let's say you're a financial consultant. All your life you've trained your financial skills like analyzing statements, market trends, and investment opportunities.

But now, as you go into business as a consultant, you need to learn a TON of skills that you've never touched before– Copywriting, sales, lead generation, offer creation, pricing, project management, etc.

Yes, you are AMAZING at what you do. But usually, it’s these other CEO skills that’s the bottleneck for a consultant’s business!

With AI, you can now skyrocket your rate of learning. Ask it to:

  • Summarize books and reports

  • Create first versions of content

  • Build personalized learning plans

  • Break down complex concepts

Think about how much time (or money) this would’ve taken you before!

Change 2– AI is helping consultants crystallize their process AND enhance customer experience

AI won't ever replace your expertise and domain knowledge. But it will IMPROVE it significantly by helping you convert your process into frameworks and playbooks.

Do this:

  • Feed your customer stories to AI

  • Work with it to break your process into steps

  • Name and claim those steps to make them your own

  • Create a unique language around your methodology

The more you crystallize your expertise, the easier it becomes to help clients do the same, and the more scalable your business becomes.

How much do you get for every unit of time you put in? AI is revolutionizing this ratio every passing day.

Your job, as the CEO, increasingly shifts from doing the work to figuring out HOW you do the work and HOW you create value.

The moment you build systems, automations take up the manual doing of the tasks so that you can focus more and more on:

Now– Before we go into HOW to use AI, I want to point out how NOT to use AI.

3 biggest mistakes consultants are making while implementing AI into business:

Mistake 1: Not using AI (ignoring it)

Your fear is valid. AI is rapidly changing how the world works, and there's a lot of potential bad things about it.

But refusing to use it is not going to change anything. In fact, the more you use it, the more you'll have a say in how to use it in positive ways.

Every moment you spend on the fence:

  • Your competitors are stealing your business

  • The value of your time is getting diluted

  • You're missing opportunities to scale and grow

In a world that's moving at breathtaking speeds, staying still is as good as moving backwards!

Mistake 2: Lazy implementation of AI (low quality)

I see this with consultants who haven't REALLY accepted AI, but don't want to say that they didn't try.

So they go in and put like one sentence: "Help me do this one thing."

As a result, they get mediocre and useless replies from AI. But that immediately makes them go, "Hey, it doesn't work!"

Honestly– AI is already SO GOOD that it's breaking my mind. If you give it enough context:

  • Tell it what you need

  • Explain what you are thinking

  • Show it how it needs to work

  • Provide relevant examples

I can guarantee you– you'll be blown away by the replies you get.

Being lazy with AI is the same as not using it!

Mistake 3: Non-strategic implementation of AI (all or nothing)

Final mistake– Losing your strategic edge while using AI.

AI doesn't KILL the need for strategy, it AMPLIFIES it.

Because if you start using AI for everything, you'll sound like everyone else and you'll blend in the crowd.

What we need is a strategic combination of the two. An approach that magnifies your unique strengths while leveraging the crazy automation and implementation skill of AI.

Think like a CEO. Use AI to get all non-you work done, SO THAT YOU can focus on being the most authentic, brilliant, and magnetic version of YOU (which is what the world needs!).

Great, so how do you START using AI?

The Solo CEO’s approach to AI: 3 distinct roles that you can start assigning to AI:

Role 1: AI as a research assistant

This is the lowest hanging fruit and the perfect place to start.

You don't need to spend HOURS scouring through content anymore.

Whenever you start working, go to AI first and ask it to:

  • Summarize books to pull insights

  • Analyze studies and surveys to give you pain points

  • Go through meeting notes to prep for the next client call

You’ll be significantly more prepared in a fraction of the time!

Role 2: AI as a thought partner

AI is EXCELLENT at 10xing your ability to generate ideas and solve problems.

Whenever you want to generate:

  • Proposals for next client projects

  • New content ideas for LinkedIn and newsletters

  • Fresh angles to explain problems to clients

  • Creative solutions to business challenges

Personally, this is my MOST used role for AI. I've even built a Kasey bot that I regularly chat with to solve problems and come up with ideas!

Role 3: AI as an employee/assistant

Lastly, AI is a SUPER smart but inexperienced employee working for you for free.

Any task that you've done 100+ times, and it has become a draining chore for you– immediately outsource it.

Write a detailed prompt outlining:

  • What's the task and why is it important

  • How to solve it step by step

  • Relevant examples of good work

  • Your specific requirements and preferences

The output will blow you away. And once you do this, you'll never go back to doing the thing yourself.

Because why would you, when there's a robot army at your disposal working tirelessly 24*7 without any complaints?

That’s it!

Bottom line: AI is not going to replace consultants, but consultants using AI will replace those who don't.
