I Shut Down My Most Profitable Offer (Here's The Uncomfortable Truth Why)

The surprising shift that transformed my business from content hamster wheel to client magnet

A few years ago, I was running wildly successful (and highly profitable) personal branding cohorts.

Entrepreneurs came to me believing what I used to believe:

That if they just became better known, everything else would fall into place.

That if they just posted more, tweaked their strategy, or finally cracked the algorithm, the leads would come flooding in.

And for some? It worked.

They built influence. They landed dream clients. They grew their businesses.

But most?

Most spent hours creating content. And STILL struggled to turn visibility into consistent revenue.

And I started to feel like I was selling them a lie.

Because the truth is: Getting more visibility doesn’t mean getting more clients.

Most entrepreneurs think their biggest problem is that not enough people know about them.

But the real problem?

It’s that not enough people know them for something specific.

Their positioning is vague. Their offer isn’t clearly differentiated. Their content might make them more visible, but it’s not making them more hireable.

In fact, their attempts at content creation often make their audience and network MORE confused about what they do, who they help, and why it matters. Not less.

And that’s why their business still feels unpredictable—no matter how much they post or how big their audience is.

Seriously, I have 1:1 clients with HUGE audiences who, when they come to me, still struggle to generate consistent revenue from the powerful, influential personal brands they’ve built.

These are people that you probably have heard of and look up to (I know I do) because they are genuinely impressive and inspiring people.

But most of their followers aren’t their ideal customers.

And the ones who are? Well, those ideal customers don’t really understand what they do, who they help, or why their work is so damn valuable.

So they don’t buy.

Why I Shut Down a Profitable Offer to Build Something Better

I could have kept running those personal branding cohorts. They were easy to sell. They made great money.

But I couldn’t ignore what I was seeing.

The entrepreneurs who scaled the fastest and made the most money weren’t the ones posting the most or the best content.

They were the ones who had:

  • Magnetic positioning, so their dream clients saw them as the obvious choice.

  • A business designed for demand, so people already knew they wanted to work with them.

  • A clear, compelling offer, so there was zero confusion about what they did and why it was valuable.

So I shut down a profitable line of business.

And I built The Solo CEO.

Because I knew that positioning, offer clarity, and business design mattered more than visibility.

Let me be real with you (you know I always am). Our deep, foundational work in The Solo CEO is way harder to sell than personal branding cohorts.

It’s less sexy. But damn is it 10x more valuable.

Yes, it’s helped my clients 3-7x their rates, close multiple 5-figure deals, and build whole new revenue streams.

But it didn’t just help them. When I made this shift in my own business?

  • Every post I wrote moved people toward working with me.

  • Every sales call I took was with a qualified lead.

  • Every month, I had new revenue coming in—without chasing it.

I launched a brand new business using this methodology in July of 2024. I generated multiple 6-figures by the end of the year, and I’m now on track for 7-figures in 2025.

This shit works.

Are You Building a Business That Attracts Clients?

Let me ask you:

Are you really building a business designed to attract high-value clients?

Or are you just creating content and hoping for the best?

If you’re tired of feeling like you’re doing everything right but still struggling to land those dream clients who appreciate your work and will happily pay what its worth, I want to show you a better way.

That’s exactly what I’m breaking down in my free webinar next week:

📅 Date: March 7, 2025
⏰ Time: 9am PST/12pm EST

This isn’t another “just post more” or “follow these engagement hacks” kind of training.

This is about building a business model that creates demand.

In love and growth,
Kasey

P.S. Webinar attendees will have the chance to apply for 2 FREE consulting calls with me, where together we’ll craft a 90-day action plan to help their business take a BIG leap forward.
